Backyard Makeover with KidKraft Adirondack Chair by Thrifty & Chic Mom

KidKraft makes wonderful children’s toys as well as furniture, we have a dollhouse bookcase that we adore in our home right now, but I never thought of them as an outdoor company. I was wrong to ignore KidKraft as an outdoor furniture source, they offer great outdoor pieces that will make your backyard into a place all the kids will want to play. I love the octagon table with four stools, it is such a unique and fun take on the traditional picnic table for kids outdoor dining. Another great option are the Adirondack chairs, these are the perfect movable seating for kids.

I received a KidKraft adirondack chair in honey and it is adorable. Upon receiving it my husband began to open the box to build it in the house, warning not a good idea as their was sawdust from the pieces so we quickly moved the construction outside before a huge mess was made. The assembly of the chair was quite easy and I am very happy with the end result.

The chair is very sturdy made of wood and treated with a water resistant stain. My girls love relaxing in the chair and it looks really cute sitting in the yard next to their playhouse. Really the only downside to this adorable chair is the price, at $99 it is a bit steep.

While you can buy plastic Adirondack chairs for a fraction of the price they are not as sturdy and will probably only last a summer while this will be around a long, long time plus it looks much better than plastic. Be sure to check out the KidKraft Adirondack chairs and all the other great KidKraft outdoor products when adding to your backyard this summer.

I received product free of charge, all opinions are my own.
