First of all the 2-in-1 Activity Table was super easy to put together! The instructions were clear and I think it took less than 30 minutes to put it together. Maybe more like 15 minutes! Davey’s favorite toy lately is his Duplo set but we didn’t have any building plates for his Duplos so this activity table is the perfect solution! One side of the board is a Lego building plate and it comes with 200 Lego-compatible blocks. I did let Davey play with the Lego-compatible blocks when we first set up the table but they were a little too hard for him to put together. He is still a little young for Legos. So I pulled out his Duplos and they work well with the activity table!

Davey also loves the train side of the activity table. It comes with a 30-piece wooden train set which also includes a small wooden car to drive on the road on the board, a house, trees, and a couple of wooden men. I put the train together and Davey played with it for quite some time! Then he took it all apart and tried to put it together himself. He can get the pieces together himself just fine, but he doesn’t know how to put it together correctly in the figure-8 pattern.

The activity board lifts up to reveal a compartment for storing the train set and blocks in. The only downside I have found to this table is that it would be better if it had drawers to keep the pieces in because you have to lift the table up to get the toys out. However Davey tends to keep all his toys scattered around his room so it is not a problem for us! He does put the train pieces in the compartment sometimes and reaches through the little holes on each side to get them out. He mostly plays with his Duplos with the Lego side of the table and he keeps his Duplos in the bucket they came in under the table. The 2-in-1 Activity Table would make a wonderful Christmas gift for your little ones! It is very sturdy, and although it is smaller than most train tables I have looked at, it is plenty big enough for 2-4 kids to gather around it
