Mommy Moment Reviews Wooden Espresso Baking and Toaster set for kids

When mama loves to bake, her daughter’s love to bake too!

KidKraft sent 2 of their newest items from their wooden playsets collection for my girls to try out. As soon as I opened the package I was impressed with how realistic these playsets were.

The expresso color gave them that look that they belonged in mommy’s kitchen, and when my girls realized that they were actually for them to play with they got right to work baking up a storm.

The expresso baking set includes:

  • Mixer that lifts in and out of the mixing bowl
  • Rolling pin that rolls back and forth
  • Cooking pan
  • 2 pretend chocolate chip cookies
  • Measuring spoon

The Expresso Toaster set comes with:

  • Pop-up toaster
  • Stick of butter that can easily be pulled into smaller pieces and then put back together
  • 2 slices of pretend bread
  • Butter plate
  • Butter knife

The toaster has toasted a lot of bread! With a pop up feature, and incredible construction, my daughters insist on giving toast to all their imaginary friends and real life friends who come for a visit. I must admit that the popping, wooden toaster even impressed me. I love that it is a product that will last many, many years.

Wouldn’t your little baker just love a set like this?

Mom Mart Product Review: KidKraft White Vintage Kitchen {Fun for the whole family!}

As a stay at home mother of two little boys I am always looking for something fun and engaging for my children. My boys, like most little boys, are very active. They like to run and jump and get into anything and everything. They are also little performers who love to mimic my behavior and habits.

My family spends a lot of time in the kitchen cooking and cleaning and working on arts and crafts. Our kitchen is the center of our home and where the entire family tends to gravitate. It comes as no surprise then that both of my little boys like to pretend and “play” kitchen during their free time.

I promised my husband that if we got a kitchen for the boys to play with it would not be a magenta pink kitchen. I would look for something gender neutral that would work with our home décor. I spent a lot of time looking around for the perfect kitchen for our family. Needless to say I was thrilled to be offered the chance to review the KidKraft White Vintage Kitchen and jumped at the opportunity!

After ooh-ing and aah-ing over this kitchen online we were ecstatic when it arrived on our doorstep. We love getting mail! We made putting the White Vintage Kitchen together a family project. Upon completion we spent even more time ooh-ing and aah-ing over our new play kitchen. We could not wait to get in there and start playing.

The KidKraft White Vintage Kitchen

is Mom Mart Approved

What we love about the KidKraft White Vintage Kitchen:
  •  We love the style of this kitchen. Since it is white it blends in with our décor. It is an impressive looking kitchen that would compliment any home décor. I especially like that it is vintage without being dated. Kudos to KidKraft on a fabulous design.
  • This play kitchen is small but mighty! It is easy to move around and small enough that when it is not in use it can be easily stored. We love how compact this play kitchen is making it easy to move around the house {we change where our play areas are frequently to keep things fresh}.
  • We are a huge fan of functionality of this kitchen. Every door has a handle and is able to open and close. Every knob turns. Each door is also furnished with a cabinet latch that prevents the cabinets from swinging open on their own.
  • My children love that their kitchen mimics mommy’s kitchen. The stove and microwave can both be seen through and the microwave has a turntable! These features make pretend play in the play kitchen that much more realistic for them.
  • Another great and well thought out feature is the removable sink. My boys have a tendency to get sticky little fingers on everything. They also like to play with their real snacks in their play kitchen. Being able to easily remove the sink to clean is extremely convenient.

The White Vintage Kitchen does not come fully assembled. It does come with detailed step-by-step pictorial instructions. Although it took us about two hours to put together, we had a fun time working on this project as a family. My three-year-old son especially loved being daddy’s little helper.

I am a huge fan of the White Vintage Kitchen. KidKraft did an amazing job creating a stylish and sturdy play kitchen. I am fully confident in the quality of this KidKraft product and believe that it will stand the test of time with my children. This is a strong sturdy piece of play equipment that my children love. I adore that it is clean, simple, and tasteful.

Savvy Mama Reviews KidKraft Table with Primary Benches

I purchased the KidKraft Table with Primary Benches for my son when he was 18 months old for his use and for my growing daycare business. The kids have been using it for over two years now and it still looks like new!

Overview

The KidKraft Table with Primary Benches Features:

  • One red bench and one blue bench which provide comfortable seating and fit neatly under the table when not in use
  • One green storage bin that rolls on casters and fits neatly under the table
  • Sturdy wood construction
  • Table: 32"L x 18"W x 20"H Bench: 16.13"L x 11"W x 18.38"H
  • Item Weight: 55.05 lbs.
I have loved the way it looks in my daycare space and the kids have enjoyed having it for activities like coloring, working with puzzles, reading books, etc. They also have a blast stashing things in the green storage bin that slides under the table.

My (average sized) son was able to use it as an 18 month old and he still fits nicely now that he is almost four years old; one of the things I researched when looking into buying a table and chairs/benches set was the size of the children it would accomodate.

I wanted something that they would be able to use for more than a couple of years and this seems to be fitting the bill. It is also an awesome feature that the benches and the storage bin tuck away under the table in order to save space when the kids aren't utilizing it.

In Conclusion

I would definitely recommend the KidKraft Table with Benches to someone looking for a table and chairs/benches for their child(ren). It is a nice looking children's set that has held up well and that the kids have loved.
